our all-time favourite place to be in Tokyo! |
El Paso
El Paso's on Omotesando-dori was one of my favorite places to eat drink and be in Tokyo. Great food; wasn't quite
real Mexican but it was real tasty. The Calamari rice and the Garlic sauteed octopus were a couple of my favorites.
The bar had Cuervo, El Tesoro, Herradura and the always tasty Porfidio. The best margaritas in town. All of this
in a convenient downtown location.

Liz's 2nd Cigarette
I had the opportunity to play with two outstanding Tokyo musicians for a couple of years: Shima "Butterphat" Hajime
and Mac "the Knife" Okuyama.
Shima was a bassist that could play anything; jazz, rock, salsa, pop and checkers on a summer afternoon.
Mac was a bluesman in a country that doesn't play the blues.
I was always honored to have two outstanding sidemen play with me, some of the most musically rewarding times of my life.

A trip to The Farmgrill
On this particular trip, we decided to invite a couple of friends: Sachiyo, Shinji and Tomoko, Jeff and
Steve. Jeff and Steve showed up dressed like a pair of somber twins.
