Daytrips

We took a few daytrips.

Sunday we rented Teresita's van for the hideous sum of 1400 Peso, and her driver, Roehl, took us for a spin around the island to see all the touristy things.
From Jagna we went west along the coast to Dauis, where we saw Higdanan cave.
Then via the Blood Compact Site by Tagbilaran to Loboc to see the Tarsier - the world's smallest primate, and it lives only in Bohol.
Then via Bilar (where Cristy lives) to Carmen and the Chocolate Hills, and finally home via Sierra Bullones, Pilar, Alicia and Duero by the coast.

Wednesday we rode a jeepney to Garcia-Hernandez, and then went huble-huble (when you put three people or more on a motorcycle) up the mountain to the fresh-water pool, which, as it turned out, wasn't so interesting afterall. But the trip there was nice.

(We put a map of Bohol on our links-page: other places on the internet)

The cockfights

On Saturday we went to see the cockfights in Jagna's brand new sexy Cockadome - the biggest one in the Visayas!

One tip for the cockfights: Never bet on Theodor's birds! We bet on all three... two of them lost and the last one tied. I think you owe us dinner, Theodor.

We also discovered that Sara had a hidden talent - she picked four outa five. Is there something you haven't told us, Sara?
